Texas High School Basketball - Permian nips Midland Legacy

Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 56-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Permian upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Americas (El Paso, TX) to play the Trail Blazers in a 6A Region I District 1 bout on Saturday, December 11. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Americas won 70-45 in their recent non-league bout against Midland (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Rebels play the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Midland Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 81-63 non-league loss to Cooper (Lubbock, TX).
