In Saturday's non-league match, the host Leander Lions basketball team scored a good 50-34 triumph over the Round Rock Westwood Warriors.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 13. Leander will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Ducks enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX).
