New Mexico High School Basketball - Raton can't hold off Maxwell

The Maxwell Bears basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Raton Tigers to 60 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loving for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Maxwell will battle a Falcons team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Hagerman (Hagerman, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Rattlers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
