Georgia High School Basketball - Mt. Zion edges Pepperell

The Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 53-49 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their test against McNair (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, McNair was tipped by Towers (Decatur, GA), 62-61, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Trion for a A D1 Region 7 test on Tuesday, December 13. Pepperell will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-28 league win over Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
