The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team (Millen, GA), was overwhelmed 56-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA)

The Gamecocks now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portal for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Screven County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-15 league loss to Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.

The War Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Jefferson County was overwhelmed by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 54-27, in a non-league battle.
