The Imlay City Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Armada Tigers to 46 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Douglass for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Imlay City will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 44-41 league loss to East English Village Prep (Detroit, MI). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Armada falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Almont (Almont, MI) to play the Raiders in a Blue Water Area game on Friday, December 13. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-3. Almont lost 53-40 in their recent league game against Yale (Yale, MI)
