The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) and the visiting Armada Tigers (Armada, MI), observed Imlay City's basketball team knock off Armada by a score of 54-44.

The Spartans (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Almont (Almont, MI). The Raiders come into the Blue Water Area challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Almont dropped by Yale (Yale, MI), 60-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) in a Blue Water Area challenge, on Friday, February 7. Armada will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 63-57 league win over Richmond (Richmond, MI).
