The Maize Eagles were victorious over the host Hutchinson Salthawks basketball squad by a final score of 59-46 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I outing, on Friday, December 13. Maize will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Mavericks enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Andover Central (Andover, KS).
