Kansas High School Basketball - Maize bests Hutchinson

The Maize Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Hutchinson Salthawks to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Derby for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I game on Thursday, February 27. Maize will play a Panthers team coming off a 66-34 league win over South (Salina, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Hutchinson falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Salthawks travel to Andover (Andover, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 16-3. Andover won 70-32 in their recent league game against Goddard (Goddard, KS)
