The Shelby County Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights to 51 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Vincent for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Shelby County will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 59-57 league win over Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Westminster School at Oak Mountain falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Thorsby (Thorsby, AL) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 5-6. Thorsby won 54-53 in their recent non-league game against Holtville (Deatsville, AL)
