North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans thwarts Currituck County

December 10, 2024: Hertford, NC 27944

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), observed Perquimans's basketball team knock off Currituck County by a score of 51-31.

The Pirates (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Currituck County will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 69-38 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, NC).
