North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans routs Currituck County

December 28, 2024: Hertford, NC 27944

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Perquimans Pirates basketball team scored a big 50-29 triumph over the Currituck County Knights.

The Pirates (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Husky go into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, North East Carolina Prep was trounced by Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 56-13, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Currituck County will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 71-28 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
