Texas High School Basketball - New Caney trounced by Grand Oaks

Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), 89-20 in a league match.

With the victory, Grand Oaks advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 6A Region II District 13 match on Friday, December 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-12. Caney Creek won 47-26 in their recent league match against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX)

The Eagles now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to College Park for a 6A Region II District 13 match on Friday, December 13. New Caney will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 34-31 league win over Willis (Willis, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-8.
