The New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), 62-25 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. New Hanover will play a Cougars team coming off a 40-24 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Topsail falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Dixon lost 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
