The Patton Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Polk County Wolverines to 36 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host West Caldwell for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Patton will confront a Warriors team coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Polk County falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 3-0. Hendersonville won 57-26 in their recent non-league game against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
