California High School Basketball - Grace thwarts Villanova Prep

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Grace Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) and the host Villanova Prep Wildcats (Ojai, CA), observed Grace's basketball team knock off Villanova Prep by a score of 51-37.

The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA). The Owls come into the Frontier challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Laguna Blanca was knocked off by Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA), 66-30, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Wildcats meet the Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 12. Villanova Prep will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 84-41 league loss to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA).
