Virginia High School Basketball - Buckingham overwhelmed by Fluvanna County

The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Buckingham Knights to 44 in the Flying Flucos non-league victory on Monday.

The Flying Flucos now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson contest on Tuesday, December 12. Fluvanna County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen come into the James River contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Randolph-Henry was routed by Cumberland (Cumberland, VA), 51-50, in a league contest.
