Louisiana High School Basketball - Academy of Our Lady knocked off by Chalmette

The Chalmette Owls basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Academy of Our Lady Penguins to 25 in the Owls non-league triumph on Monday.
The Owls now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fontainebleau for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Chalmette will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-23 non-league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.
The Penguins (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Haynes Academy was defeated by Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-25, in a non-league contest.
