The Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA), 50-16 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Owls now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Chalmette will meet a Rebels team coming off a 27-20 non-league loss to Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-2.
The Penguins (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Eleanor McMain triumphed over Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 27-20, in a non-league contest.
