The Cahokia Comanches basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Belleville West Maroons to 43 in the Comanches non-league triumph on Monday.

The Comanches now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Vernon for a South Seven contest on Thursday, December 14. Cahokia will meet a Rams team coming off a 55-40 league win over Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Rams record now stands at 8-2.

The Maroons (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL). The Flyers enter the Southwestern contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, East St. Louis was defeated by Collinsville (Collinsville, IL), 51-37, in a league contest.
