In Wednesday's non-league test, the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), by a score of 61-48.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) in a 2A Mid-State test, on Friday, December 13. West Stokes will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wolfpack come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 70-46 non-league loss to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks come into the 1A Northwest test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Elkin was knocked off by West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 76-64, in a non-league test.
