The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting West Stokes Wildcats to 61 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Wilkes for a 1A Northwest game on Friday, February 7. North Stokes will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 65-56 league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, West Stokes falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 2A Mid-State game on Friday, February 7. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-14. North Forsyth lost 81-57 in their recent non-league game against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)
