In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Green Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 55-49 triumph over the Jackson Polar Bears.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Magnificat (Rocky River, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Magnificat nipped St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH), 64-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Polar Bears battle the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) in a Federal contest, on Saturday, December 14. Jackson will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 45-32 league loss to McKinley (Canton, OH).
