Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC), 35-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Rams host Burns (Lawndale, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont match on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-2.

The Lions now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores match on Friday, December 13. Langtree Charter Academy will face a Bears squad coming off a 57-19 non-league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
