The Southwestern Piasa Birds basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Mt. Olive Wildcats to 35 in the Piasa Birds non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Piasa Birds now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host North Mac for a South Central game on Thursday, December 12. Southwestern will confront a Panthers team coming off a 46-31 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
