North Carolina High School Basketball - South View thwarts Seventy-First

December 11, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28304

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) and the host Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), observed South View's basketball team knock off Seventy-First by a score of 62-44.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the 3A/4A United 8 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Douglas Byrd dropped by Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 52-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Seventy-First will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
