North Carolina High School Basketball - South View sneaks past Seventy-First

February 5, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) basketball edged the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 58-52 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a 3A/4A United 8 bout on Friday, February 7. South View will play a Bears team coming off a 55-51 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Seventy-First falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to play the Rams in a 3A/4A United 8 bout on Friday, February 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-17. Purnell Swett lost 57-34 in their recent league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)
