In Monday's league outing, the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), by a count of 62-59.

The Golden Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams go into the Mountain outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Penns Valley Area was tipped by Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA), 42-35, in a league outing.

The Golden Tigers now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clearfield for a Mountain outing on Thursday, December 15. Hollidaysburg will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Bison record now stands at 2-1.
