Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tamaqua succumbs to Pottsville

The Pottsville Crimson Tide topped the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders basketball team by a final score of 50-42 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Crimson Tide face the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 game, on Thursday, December 15. Pottsville will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Olympians enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA).

With the defeat, Tamaqua moves to 0-4 on the year. The Blue raiders travel to Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 14.
