The Midland Trail Patriots basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Cross Lanes Christian Warriors to 32 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a Coalfield AA contest on Wednesday, December 14. Midland Trail will battle a Patriots team coming off a 45-19 non-league win over Sherman (Seth, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.

The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hannan (Ashton, WV). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
