The Abundant Life Owls basketball team (North Little Rock, AR), was nudged 51-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Valley Christian River Hawks (Russellville, AR)

The River Hawks now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Ministries Academy for a Heartland Christian battle on Tuesday, January 9.

The Owls (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maumelle Charter (Maumelle, AR). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Maumelle Charter edged Malvern (Malvern, AR), 65-54, in a non-league battle.
