The South Side Hornet basketball team (Bee Branch, AR), was overwhelmed 93-67 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR)
The Timberwolves now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Vernon-Enola for a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, December 15. Cedar Ridge will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 88-76 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Warhawks record now stands at 15-4.
The Hornet (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region 2 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Marshall trounced Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR), 88-76, in a league battle.
