The Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Madison Comprehensive Rams to 50 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Senior for a Ohio Cardinal contest on Friday, December 15. Mt. Vernon will meet a Tygers team coming off a 70-45 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Tygers record now stands at 1-2.
The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Lexington nudged Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH), 70-45, in a league contest.
