Iowa High School Basketball - Midland overwhelmed by Marquette

The Marquette Mohawks basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Midland Eagles to 28 in the Mohawks league victory on Tuesday.
The Mohawks now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Marquette will battle a Falcons team coming off a 71-56 league win over Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Tipton triumphed over Durant (Durant, IA), 71-43, in a league contest.
