The Lakers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton County for a District 16 battle on Friday, December 15. Russell County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons come into the District 16 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Monroe County trounced Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 65-60, in a non-league battle.
