The Wayne County Yellow Jackets ran past the host Appling County Pirates basketball team by a final score of 43-31 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets face the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. Wayne County will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
