New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brodhead Cardinals (Brodhead, WI), 68-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Glarus upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Glarner Knights host Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI) to play the Pointers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Pointers go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI) in a Rock Valley - Rock bout, on Thursday, December 14. Brodhead will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 74-38 non-league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI).
