Central Warriors (Elkader, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 48-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Warriors host Postville (Postville, IA) to play the Pirates in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, December 15. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Postville lost 72-38 in their recent league bout against Kee (Lansing, IA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Clayton-Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 63-57 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA).
