Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) and the host Community Trojans (Laddonia, MO), saw Sturgeon's basketball squad hold off Community by a tally of 54-52.

With the victory, Sturgeon improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO) to play the Tigers in a Central challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Trojans play the Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Community will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
