Texas High School Basketball - Early ripped by Eastland

The Eastland Mavericks basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Early Longhorns to 38 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, December 15. Eastland will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 65-15 league loss to Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-10.
The Longhorns (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin (Dublin, TX). The Lions enter the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Dublin was routed by Brock (Brock, TX), 90-21, in a league contest.
