In Tuesday's league outing, the Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), by a count of 61-21.

The Tornadoes (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region I District 3 outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Denver City was crushed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 47-41, in a league outing.

The Mules now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Friona for a 3A Region I District 3 outing on Friday, December 15. Muleshoe will clash with a Chieftans squad coming off a 46-34 non-league win over Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 5-9.
