West Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty overwhelmed by Lewis County

The Liberty Mountaineers basketball team (Clarksburg, WV), was overwhelmed 69-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

The Minutemen now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a Big Ten battle on Thursday, December 14. Lewis County will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 85-44 non-league loss to Weir (Weirton, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-2.

The Mountaineers (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars come into the Big Ten battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Lincoln trounced Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 58-47, in a league battle.
