The Murray Tigers basketball team (Murray, KY), was overwhelmed 62-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY)
The Marshals now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCracken County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Marshall County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers come into the District 4 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Calloway County trounced Webster County (Dixon, KY), 48-40, in a non-league battle.
