With the victory, Halifax County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Comets host Gretna (Gretna, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Trojans play the Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Tunstall will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 58-7 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA).
