The Larkin Royals defeated the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks basketball squad by a final score of 51-43 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Royals clash with the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 14. Larkin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Shamrocks come into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL).

The Blackhawks (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres come into the Upstate Eight outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Streamwood was defeated by South Elgin (South Elgin, IL), 61-57, in a league outing.
