Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mahanoy Area routs North Schuylkill

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears basketball team scored a big 64-19 triumph over the North Schuylkill Spartans.

The Golden Bears (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Leadership Academy smashed Lehigh Christian Academy (Allentown, PA), 102-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 contest, on Monday, December 16. North Schuylkill will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Crimson Tide go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 63-33 non-league loss to Wilson (West Lawn, PA).
