West Virginia High School Basketball - Calvary Baptist Academy toppled by Hurricane

Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots (Hurricane, WV), 71-61 in a non-league contest.

The Redskins (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Nitro topped Poca (Poca, WV), 84-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Calvary Baptist Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
