Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Dallas HSAA Angels (Plano, TX), 69-49 in a non-league contest.

The Farmers (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Lebanon Trail topped Bells (Bells, TX), 31-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Angels battle the Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Dallas HSAA will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 90-12 non-league win over Uplift Ascend Prep (Fort Worth, TX).
