Texas High School Basketball - Mountain View fells Patterson Institute

December 12, 2025: El Paso, TX 79999

The Mountain View Lobos basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Patterson Institute Lions to 53 in the Lobos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lobos now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Mountain View will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Patterson Institute falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Clint (Clint, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16. The Lions enter the outing with a record of 3-5. Clint lost 61-22 in their recent non-league outing against Horizon (El Paso, TX)
