The Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), 54-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Bacon County went down by Charlton County (Folkston, GA), 75-36, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valwood for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5.
